The UPSOSB is an autonomous board registered under Government rules and running under the auspices of Open Schooling of Indian Government’s Education Department. UPSOSB provides educational opportunities to persons like you, who wish to study further and qualify for a better tomorrow. The mission of UPSOSB is to provide education to all with special concern to school girls and women, rural youth, working men and women who because of one or the other reason could not continue their education with the formal system. UPSOSB operates through a network of Study Centers in country and out of country also (only where UPSOSB has been got declared equivalent by concerned government). The Uttar Pradesh State Open School Board UPSOSB has been established to work as bridge between the Govt. and Rural/Backward Classes of India. The Uttar Pradesh State Open school Society is a Non Governmental Organization registered Under Indian Societies Registration Act , 1860 as an Autonomous Corporate Body, for the Promulgation and dissemination of Education at State & National level.
